An ideal demonstration of the ISOVER expertise in action moving the building from an energy rating of D to A
France

ISOVER provided insulation solutions for the GESEC Headquarters in Saint-Avertin, France. An ideal demonstration of the Isover expertise in action moving the building from an energy rating of D to A.
The biggest challenge in the renovation of this office building was to improve its energy rating from Class D to Class A, or from its existing energy consumption level of around 211kWh/m2 to less than 50kWh/m2. Updating the appearance and style of the building also presented challenges, as the existing south facade had neither doors or windows; and deadlines were very tight, with only 7 months allowed between finalization of the new designs and planned occupation, in April 2008.
