The Committee of the Holy Shroud and the innovative start-up be-echo, hosted at the Politecnico di Torino I3P innovative business incubator, teamed up to construct a sustainable wooden structure for welcoming pilgrims in Piazza San Giovanni. The Committee, be-eco, and other companies donating materials, technology, and skills signed an MoU for execution of the project. Saint-Gobain PPC Italy S.p.A. was one of the signatories. It provided the ISOVER Vario intelligent membrane for the structure’s facades and the Bituver California membrane for a cool roof.
