On 29 April, Saint-Gobain ISOVER formalised the acquisition of Buitex Recyclage and its range of Isonat wood fibre products. Buitex Recyclage is now a subsidiary of ISOVER, under the name ISONAT.
Through this transaction, ISOVER is reaffirming its presence both locally and nationally, expanding its customer reach to wood industry specialists, and seizing an opportunity to move into new market segments with wood fibre insulation solutions.
ISONAT's entire range of flexible and rigid wood fibres will continue to be sold under the brand name. Its processing base has been reinforced, as have sales teams in certain sectors. ISONAT will benefit from all industrial, logistical, marketing, and sales resources available, through which the company will continue to grow. ISOVER and ISONAT also have a highly promising R&D collaboration on the way, with plans to open a research and innovation centre at the Mably site.
Strengthened by their shared experience in developing insulation materials, ISONAT's unrivalled knowledge and ISOVER's technical expertise will allow the two to move forward on wood-fibre and glass fibre insulation solutions, fostering future innovations.
This acquisition allows ISOVER to expand and bolster its range of services and solutions to better serve customers.
