- Reference project

When thinking about the restoration project, it became clear that a complete energy renovation was needed to improve residents' comfort and reduce co-owners’ collective charges. Installing exterior thermal insulation was planned, as was changing joinery and installing controlled mechanical ventilation. The goal was to reach the level of the French low energy standard for renovations. It’s the first renovation of a high-rise residential building that meets also the requirements of Paris’s Climate Action Plan. ISOVER’s Isofaçade 32 glass wool insulation was chosen for its low thickness resulting from its excellent lambda of 0.032 W/(m.K). It was installed in three layers to reproduce the tower’s original volumes.
