The best of book 2013
This book is designed to demonstrate the feasibility of ambitious projects, both architecturally and from an environmental viewpoint. It is composed of two main sections, the first covering renovation projects and the second new construction projects. Throughout the book, “Highlight” focus pages address a number of important issues in the construction and renovation processes, from total cost considerations to the importance of air tightness. It is crucial now that we take the very low-energy building concept forward, from the experimental stage to broad application throughout the building industry.
It is only by doing this that the best practices of today will become the building standards of tomorrow.
