Q&AGlass wool
Does glass wool produce dangerous dust?
In private or collective premises, the quality of interior air is a subject of concern. In premises insulated by mineral fibres, these fibres only represent an infinitesimal share of particles and fibres present in the air.
Levels of exposure are around 0.0002 to 0.005 fibre/ml, i.e. 1/200th of the professional exposure limit.
The proportion of other particles or fibres is much higher (0,172 fibre/ml).
