A great success for the 2nd edition of the Energy Efficiency Awards !
This year, the Energy Efficiency Awards were open to residential and non residential projects, both in renovation and new construction. As a result, a wide range of projects were presented, from the renovation of a mountain refuge to the construction of a new university. The awards ended with an international ceremony in Vienna, where the winners of the 7 represented countries received their diploma and "best of" book.

ISOVER on the 3rd Passive House Conference in Brno
ISOVER Chech participated on the Third Passive House Symposium and fair in Brno at the end of October. In focus was the presentation of Multi-Comfort House and Isover and Orsil solutions for more energy efficiency . On the last day of the congress the participants have visited the several new passive houses in Vienna.

ISOVER organized the 3rg annual Energy Efficiency Conference in Riga
ISOVER Latvia organized on the October the 2nd the annual Energy Efficiency Conference. The opening was made by Environmental Ministry of Latvia Mr. Bisters who was giving the overview about the European trends and subvention for the project for increasing energy efficiency . Janis Ankipans from Isover Latvia presented the company and the actual status of energy efficiency in Latvia. Zdenka Debartoli from Isover Marketing International presented Multi-Comfort House concept and the new tool MCH Designer.

New annual book of MCH Student’s Contest
The new Student’s Contest Book with 39 projects from 13 countries is finished and sent to the participated countries. For reminding in June this year 39 teams from Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and UK met in Dubrovnik, Croatia and presented their Multi-Comfort House school projects . The most successful projects are presented in the calendar 2009.
